GARABITOS
DEPARTURE 09:00 HRS. RETURN 11:00 HRS.
Depart on our bicycles through the Historic downtown
area continue and visit the local Guadiana and Sahuatoba
Parks and on to the Garabitos dam. Around a 35 km ride.
back to Durango.
3 people minimum.
CHUPADEROS
DEPARTURE 09:00 HRS. RETURN 16:00 HRS.
Transfer by vehicle to the movie set of Chupaderos 15
km. north of the City where our ride begins in the Canyon
of Las Huertas with its beautiful rock formations, flora
and fauna.
Most of John Wayne movies were shot there. from Chupaderos
we go on to Villa del Oeste another westren movie set
where pictures like Buck and the Preacher were shot
where we can eat lunch. If you have enough energy you
can go horseback rideing. back to Durango.
OTINAPA
DEPARTURE 09:00 HRS. RETURN 16:00 HRS.
Transfer by vehicle to el Soldado 40km. in the Sierra
Madre to
begin our route back to Durango on dirt roads
and trails 75km. vehicle for support as well as water
and fruit for the road.
POANAS VALLEY
DEPARTURE 09:00 HRS. RETURN 16:00 HRS.
Transfer by vehicle to la Barranca de Zamora 50km. where
we begin our ride on the banks of the river back to
Nombre de Dios one of the oldest towns in the State,
we eat lunch there.
