Day 1 -Durango/Zone of Silence
|
Departure by vehicle, according to schedule of arrival,
dinner on the way before entering the Desert of the
Bolson
of Mapimi, after and exciting two hours night
drive on a dirt road through the desert watching some
of the night animals and birds we arrive at our camping
site, set camp and for those w
ho want to we get ready
to watch a night full of stars, planets ,shooting
stars and perhaps a suprise. Stay up as long as we
want. Camping night.

| Day 2 -Zone of Silence |
Very early in the morning, after a good coffe or
an even better juice, we take a trek through the desert
identifying cactus, plants,
birds and animals, we will explain the complex
survival system that the deser
t forces them to have
in able to live in this ecosystem. During the spring
season we will see the fantastic desert flower bloom,
after breakfast almost lunch we will again by vehicle
tour the area of the Zone of Silence visiting the
Oasis of las Lilas, The metorites zone, and the Bolson
of Mapimi Biosphere Reserve headquarters in the desert.
We eat lunch and go to one of the water resorvoirs
and take a swim (no soap), spend the afternoon relaxed.
After watching one of the Zone's espectacular sunsets
will have dinner and get ready for another night of
great star gazing checking out planets, stars, metorites,
night flying objetcts and who know what else. Camping
night.

| Day 3 -Zone of Silence/Durango |
Early breakfast, pick up camp and leave the desert
of the Zone of Silence on our vehicle to visit the
Ojuela Mine with its ghost town and the famous Ojuela
Hanging Bridge , which with more than 100 years of
age and its 320 mts lenght is a sight to see, we eat
lunch here and afterwards start heading to Gomez Palacio
where we leave you at your hotel or at the airport
for your flights home. End of tour.
